Guests can discover the rhythms of the countryside, together with that memory of smells, tastes and mental images hidden within each of us, only awaiting the right moment to spring to mind. Great care has been taken to bring back to life what was once a typical farmhouse of last century, preserving its architectural features, with its ceilings of beam and tiles, and providing furniture of the period, thus allowing guests to take a step backward in time while enjoying all the essential comforts of modern living You will be welcomed by Alessandro and Anna, who will be only too happy to let you take part in farmwork if you wish to, and will disclose to you the "secrets" of the land... According to choice, the ANTICA FATTORIA DEL COLLE provides either rooms or mini-apartments with cooking facilities, all of which have their own entrance, own bathroom with shower, heating and all necessary linen. At the Fattoria, you can alternate amusement and rest (or study) with a swim in the pool on its terrace tucked between an olive grove above and the vineyard below, play bowls or go walking or riding on mountain-bikes along the little unpaved country roads. If you need more, there is also ping-pong, billiards. Afterwards, near our farmhouse, there is the possibility for horse riding lovers to enjoy some riding around our country-side and if necessary take lessons. At the table, besides tasty and genuine "classical" dishes, you can discover old regional recipes, not only Umbrian, utilizing almost exclusively farm products, and all bearing witness to the philosophy that food should be a joy to the spirit, as well as to the eye and stomach.

Dear Madame and Sir, We would like to welcome you to the Podere Caldaruccio consisting of 3 country farm houses all of them situated on a hill- top with a fantastic view, and an impressive very old pine grove which is the landmark for the little village below. The apartments and Villas are from a minimum of 45 to an average space of 100 square metres (the biggest is 220), all of them have been restored taking care to leave the original structure. They are comfortable and the rooms are furnished with antique furniture together with modern comfort as satellite television, dishwasher, microwawe, washing machine, safe, etc. We also have the Tower Suite (on top of the farm house with a wonderful view) to be used as a double or triple room of about 40 square meters and a bathroom with a bath-tub. In particular, we have the “Baita” apartment of 45 square metres with a double and a single bed furnished with lovely pieces of antiques (the double bed belonged to a count of the end the 18th century), a kitchen provided with all tools, a fireplace and a bathroom with shower. Another apartment “Chalet” is of about 100 square metres and can be occupied by up to 2 families with children (even 4+3) because it has 2 very big bedrooms a large living-room with a fireplace and an onsite kitchen, a very big bathroom and 2 independent entrances. The pride of the owner is the last restoration just finished of the Villa Cottage suitable for 8+5 people or to be shared in 2 very big apartments of about 110 square meters (suitable for 4+2 people) each with 2 big bedrooms 2 bathrooms (one with a spa bath-tub) and a very big kitchen-living-room area and a porch overlooking the chlorine freeswimming-pool the name is "Cottage”. All of the proposed solutions are part of an extensive property of about 15 acres of land, all with fence and automatic gate (you will receive a remote control), plenty of possibilities of relaxing walking all around or sunbathing in one of a lot of places with green grass. The old farmhouse is situated on a hilltop site with a wonderful view over a great meadow, the old pines trees, (the landmark of the village of Ramazzano) and a wood where you’ll find tables, chairs and hammocks and a barbecue."). The property is surrounded by woodland, where you will be able to watch “wild animals” like deer, foxes, wild boars etc. There are a lot of trekking trips leading to very beautiful spots in the countryside over the hills (and not far away)from 20 minutes up to several hours. Podere Caldaruccio certainly offers an ideal place because of its favorable geographic position located in the centre of a number of towns of touristic and artistic interests of Umbria as: Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno, and the very close Tuscany with Cortona, Montepulciano, the Chianti area, Siena and Florence; the Adriatice sea is not far about 90 kms away even Rome is reachable in 2 hours. Available for the guests: A spacious pool, private green spaces supplied with wooden tables and chairs, a playground for children, mountain bikes; while in the forests of the property, it is possible to have relaxing walks and trekking, for the sportive and more expert people, it is even possible to ride a horse. From the first years of the past century our family has been host of the estate "Caldaruccio" and we have continued to maintain everything in the respect of nature and of the traditions we found here. We cultivate olive and fruit trees together with vegetables, our production continues to follow ancient methods; There is also available an orchard and a biological garden. There are five possibilities to stay with us from 2 up to 8+5 Persons depending on the requirements of the family.
